Soybeans and wheat flour are used as main ingredients for Ssamjang. Carefully choose and wash
these ingredients, soak them sufficiently in water so that they may spread well, steam them by heating them in steaming room and then use Aspergillus oryzae in cultivating room to make meju.
Mix this meju with salt and clean water and transport the mixture into the fermentation tank for
fermentation and aging.During the aging process, the ingredients are decomposed by the activity of microorganisms such as Aspergillus oryzae, enzymes, and bacteria, thus generating amino acids, which leads to the production of a delicious semi-finished product.
Add a lot of condiments such as red pepper powder, garlic, and ginger into the semi-finished product,
and sterilize, cool, and package the mixture.
Enjoy a delicious dish with just the seasoned ssamjang, there¡¯s no need for other condiments.
